"Where do I begin? The food is excellent! I got the German bratwurst, bag of chips, and my favorite IBC cream soda. The service was professional and so friendly! Many food establishments will get similar reviews, but that?s where the Little Engine Eatery is different. They have a mission to employ and give opportunities to the precious lives of our society that many others forget about. They are a nonprofit that provide paid work experience for people with learning disabilities. It was born of the parents love for their son who loves trains. If you are in BV, stop by and grab a bite to eat. It is WELL worth your time and money!!!"

"Original review 3-24-21: Absolutely wonderful little hidden gem! Had the Lasagna with meatballs, which was a huge portion and absolutely amazing and the Turkey Cranberry sandwich. The sandwich was filled with fresh ingredients and we were stuffed by time we left. Soda fountain is from Rocky Mountain soda which is always my favorite as well. Beautiful patio for outdoor dining and even a place to dine with your dog (separate from the normal patio) absolutely recommend to anyone passing through or just looking for a great place to eat!Update 3-26-22 :Back a year later and still loving this little gem. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside. Staff are still kind and attentive, food was still just as delicious. This time we had the chicken pesto and side Caesar salad. The croutons in the salad are house made and lettuce was cold and crisp. The pesto had great flavor to it and really added value to the sandwich, good meat to veggie ratio. The winner this time was the hot italian beef sandwich though. Boy was this a good sandwich, a little spicy and packed with flavor. Also, grabbed a carrot cake and cheesecake to go and really enjoyed them after we had time to digest our lunch. See you next year!"

"Cute shop. Nice selection of candies, ice cream, and sodas. I had a couple of issues here right after stepping in. There was a sign asking customers to wear masks. However, only one out of the three employees had one on at all. The other two were serving food with no mask. Every other shop I entered in BV was very careful about sanitation and seemed to adhere to the recommendations. Not Stedman?s. Also, one of the gals wiped some goop off the floor with a napkin and then proceeded to wipe a portion of the countertop with the same napkin. Yuck! Won?t be going there again."
