"We tried to come on Saturday night, but fully booked, so booked for Sunday night and don't regret it. Burgers were fully customised, so we each had exactly what we wanted, one with a white bun, one with a multi-grain and a red one... Staff...were excellent, friendly and spoke enough English to make up for our complete lack of Italian. You can get pizza everywhere in Airolo (very good too) but this was easily the best meal. Loved the music too"

"I wish we did not stop there. Or else, I wish we were not as hungry and were able to walk away when the food arrived at the table. Tasteless mess for a lot of money. We were sick the whole day after eating there I don't think the food was fresh at all. Service not great either, was waiting forever to get attention. Terrible."

"Whilst waiting for me to cycle up St. Gothard's Pass, my wife happened to find the Tremola restaurant and we had lunch there. It's an absolutely amazing place - they have basically converted a ww2 bunker into a hotel and very nice restaurant. Felix the chef was incredibly accommodating and we had a long chat with the owner too. If you want to go somewhere with good food and in a completely different venue, then I'd thoroughly recommend it. As a hint, if you eat there (and ask very nicely), you might get a guided tour which is absolutely fascinating. A lot of the original equipment is still there (but hidden away in back rooms) and it's amazing to see how it all used to work. A little gem we are very glad we happened upon."

"Very nice place, clean and very nice staff. The food is very good and abundant at a fair price. They have a menu of the day or a la carte choice, and I have noticed that they serve children first, much appreciated. Also never seen such a big and stuffed cordon bleu, top! congratulations to the chef. We will definitely be back."
