"It is a good place to relax, good regional beers and a small but well served menu. we went to see one of the comments that spoke of the welcome and explanations that could be found on drinks and food. servers were good but no more and we stayed a little bit of ace we expected more heat and being introduced into choices. by that the place is good and we'll be back. It's on!"

"We stayed here on a recent walking tour and after reading a few reviews we were alittle worried but we really didnt need to be. The hotel was amazing with so much character and history. The food was great the service was awesome and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It has a great bar and out door area and the views are incredible. We had a double room with a shared balcony. The hotel leave towels and shower gel which is helpful when most people are walking and have limited baggage. The shared facilities were absolutely fine as there are a few showers and toilets so we were never waiting. The hotel can be a little noisy with people using the toilet at night and waking up early but to be expected."

"An sechs Wochenenden im November und Dezember ist in der Stallstube Metzgetebuffet. Man muss früh reservieren um noch Platz zu finden. Die meisten Gäste kommen jedes Jahr wieder. Dieser Erfolg ist kein Zufall. Das Lokal und die Umgebung ist sehr schön dekoriert. Bereits der Empfang ist freundlich. Das "Menu" ist ganz einfach: Alles vom Schwein, was so zu einer Metzgete gehört. Schnörrli, Speck, Rippli, Wädli, kleine Blut- und Leberwürste und vieles mehr mit den entsprechenden Beilagen, alles in hervorragenden Qualität. Wer Leber will, bestellt beim sehr freundlichen Service, sie werden dann frisch zubereitet serviert. Das Weinangebot besteht aus sehr guten regionalen Tropfen zu vernünftigen Preisen.Auch das Dessertbuffet ist wunderbar, wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder."
