"This is quite an interesting place as the restaurant in itself is quite poorly decorated, but the view is outstanding!! Surrounded by the sea, you don 't really pay much attention to the rest, and the smile and very warm welcome (even though the restaurant was...virtually empty and we were quite late) started our evening very well. As for the food, it was lovely and even had a twist to it, which is something that is missing in most of the other restaurants we ate in. The tuna (albeit frozen fish) brochette was delicious and served with grilled pineapple and plenty of salad from the very fresh salad bar , and my husband 's steak was cooked (rare) to perfection. After very much enjoying our main course, we tucked into a homemade cheesecake dessert (in a glass) and it was lovely too. So value quality/price/welcome/view this must have been one of the best restaurants we visited during our 2 week holiday in Sao Miguel."
