Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had this special and it was really good, the best beef stew I've had. The coffee was excellent as well. As other reviewers stated, the prices are high. Nice atmosphere.
On our bikes good stop over for shared meal and coffee. Lovely spot in the sun before ride home along coast
We love to support local business but we walked in and the owners and staff (4) kept talking and didn't acknowledge we even existed. We had to ask to be served. In the tight economy we live in, this terrible service is not up to standard. We will choose to go somewhere else next time. Such a shame as the location is great.
We went to Burns Beach Cafe for lunch. It was very busy but you shouldn't have to wait over an hour for salt and pepper squid. The waitress apologised saying that it was the first day with their new menu. While we waited we had a berry smoothie which was great. My husband and I shared the "large" salt and pepper squid which was $27. I must say it was very tasty with squid, chorizo, kepfler potatoes and chilli.
We drove here for an hour because we heard it was a good place with great food.We had the seafood platter for 2 at $49.00 and a couple of soft drinks because the water had an odd taste to it.The mussels, calamari and prawns were good, the battered fish was overcooked sadly. The place is nice and the staff friendly however had we read the previous comments before We decided to come we might not have made the effort.Would I come back again, probably not.By the way the Wi-Fi password is "burnsbeach" and was a lucky guess as our server didn't know at that stage.
