Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were deceived by the manager who convinced us to buy a bottle of champagne with the promise of a "special price"... only to find out when the bill arrived that the special price just meant it was cheaper than buying individual glasses. Not the most ideal beginning to our vacation and not what you would anticipate from a renowned brand like Fortnum and Mason. A humorous anecdote, the couple at the next table complained that their white wine wasn't chilled enough, and the same arrogant manager insisted they were mistaken, stating that white wine should actually be served at room temperature. If you enjoy this type of experience, then I would suggest this place, otherwise, I would recommend avoiding it.
The staff here are great! Very accommodating when you are in a hurry! My story is that during the period of covid I arrived after a hectic stay in UK . My flight to Cape Town was late. Nothing was open. I was hungry stressed. Your staff found me some smoked salmon/wine and took care of me when they were already closed/closing for the night! I’ve never forgotten and do every time I pass through Terminal 5 I enjoy the hospitality here!! Thank you Especially Gaudencio who still remembers me from that time
Very sad bacon sandwich. Bacon ok but the toast was sliced bread! With no butter. Vile and definitely one to avoid
This is our second visit and also second review of tripadvisor of Fortnum&Mason in T5. We ordered one cappuccino and a flat white. Both were terrible, not just poor. They were just very milky, very hot, liquid with a weak taste of coffee. We returned both to the staff. We made a similar visit and gave a similar report several years ago. Surely, our previous visit was just a bad day for F&M. Sadly not. The staff are clearly not trained to make a cappuccino or a flat white. With so many amazing high-quality coffee shops in the UK, to find a most prestigious brand failing so badly making a coffee is not a good reflection for then.
For some reason it has become a habit to have a drink before my flight despite the time! So I went here as it’s more in a quieter part of the airport and I wanted to try their fortnum and mason rose. This was nice enough, service is quick and attentive but as expected VERY expensive. You do get 10% discount in the shop if you keep the receipt.
