Crown Fried Chicken - Philadelphia

The meal was enjoyable, but the seafood I ordered for my friend was inedible. It was old and overcooked. I wouldn't recommend ordering the seafood.

I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you can sense dishonesty in the way they handle transactions. I ordered a sandwich for $9 and gave the cashier a $20 bill. Instead of the correct change, he only returned a dollar. When I pointed out the mistake, he feigned confusion, but it was clear that he was trying to keep more of my money. Many other reviews echo my experience, and unfortunately, the food was not good either. I sincerely hope this place shuts down soon.

I'm a big fan of Crown Fried Chicken, but I had a disappointing experience at this location. When I went to pay, I noticed that the cashier's fingernails were black, which was really off-putting. To make matters worse, he handled the food right after dealing with the cash, and I’ve never seen him wearing gloves. This is really unsanitary! It's important to be mindful when preparing someone else's food; hands should always be washed, and gloves should be worn.

The six hot wings served with fries and a soda felt overpriced, but they were delightfully crunchy and crispy. The Chicken over Rice was outstanding—definitely a highlight. While it was a bit pricey for two meals, the food overall was really good!
