Tilly's Pvd - Providence

I wanted to try this place. My friend told me they had good cheese steaks, and I believe the best cheese steaks in RI are at Edgewood market.I went out of my way to try this place. The process was confusing... Apparently you MUST order online at a website that they share with like 20 other restaurants.After it all, turns out they just left early that day and I got no food. Just a complete waste of my time.

The Vegan Philly Cheesesteak was probably the most meaty thing I've tasted since becoming vegan over 2 years ago. The Impossible burger meat never fails I guess. I don't often seek out dishes that seek to emulate their non-vegan counterparts but this one kept up with and in my eyes beats the non-vegan version. Best cheesesteak I've ever had, period, and in the top 5 for most memorable and just downright tasty unhealthy foods.

1 hour to pick up 2 cheese steaks and it’s not even busy. Also very odd layout you get food from a locker. I think they’re trying to figure out a way to have the least employees involved in a 16$ cheese steak order

Tillys has the best vegetarian cheese steak sandwich! Worth the wait. Interesting set-up.
