Best Korean in Rochester. Hidden in an industrial area, Young's offers a friendly, casual atmosphere with excellent food. Although our daughters are often dined there, we decided to take over. We had quite standard bulgoki, but what was excellent was a spicy chicken dish (number 6 in the menu). When picking up, they offered to double on the sides, kimchi, tofu, bean sprouts, etc., as soon as they heard that we enjoy them. All were good, hot and delicious.
I used to go to Seoul Garden and it became slow worse over time, not enjoy my meal in May this year I think it changed the property. This was the first time I was with Youngs and I'm so glad I had a chance. The food is great, portions generous and it is very fast. There is a downloadable menu on rocwiki if you want to take over the order. Tried the Mandu-gui, kimchi bokimbab, and yookgaejang, will definitely be back for bbq!
Although it was a new experience, dinner was pretty good. The food was hot and hot. The complementary distribution of various spits and tofu was unique.
This is by far the best Korean restaurant I have tried in Rochester, NY. Every time, I visit my parents, this is on my list of places to eat at while I am home. I have had the privilege to know the Young family for many years. They both are such hard workers and bring authentic food culture of Sourh Korea to America. Their recipes are true to Korean culture. Thank you for all that you do. Good luck to your amazing business.
