Tucked away in the corner of Balboa Park overlooking Florida canyon, Balboa Hospital and the downtown skyline, Tobey's offers real, wonderful, food. There is a large parking lot for the golf course which is nearly empty on weekday mornings. Tobey's has been here for nearly 100 years. I'm always amazed that it is not busy. Bring your out-of-town friends to see a calm, beautiful, peaceful, side of San Diego that few will ever see. Parking: Large parking lot for the golf course plenty of spaces.
