The Churchill Pub And - Cumberland

Eating was very good! the monster burger was bigger than I expected. but it's worth it.

Good English pub evening and more, had fish n chips and guinness steak pie, both abundantly servings and perfect in every wise. guinness blond to accompany the meal. music was free (eagles, simon and garfunkel, the stones) and at a good level to hear and talk. pub atmosphere also, neat bar. we will often go back. highly recommended!

Authentic as they come. remarkable as soon as they walk through the door. as expat brit, I can see the difference. excellent eating. the poutine chips are a close second from this world with the fish chips. service was fast, knowledgeable and polite, without being intrusive. large selection of beers on hahn and served in decent size glasses. good selection of quality fleet if they are looking a little stronger. food and drink prices are very reasonable. on the back of the pub is a heated terrace with its own bar. it wasn't like trying the Sunday roast, but a father said he never misses it. Many thanks to pam, Dawn-Marie, the rest of the team that made our visits so pleasant. bt2 work the pub has a huge outdoor sign that is difficult to miss and parking is easy.

Great feeling and good eating! eating was cheap and served cake hot. the fish was enormous and well cooked. my shnitzel was tender and the brot was crispy. the burgers were juicy and had amazing carmelized wobble. the NUR complaint I would have is that there was no salt over everything we ate.

Great English food...friendly people and enjoyed a very cool band (Night Traveler). I will definitely be back...SOON!
