Fran's Fish & Chips - Kingston

Went here last weekend and was not disappointed! We all got the haddock and it it was perfectly crunchy on the outside and flaky on the inside! The service was also really fast. Would definitely go here again for my next fish fix. They have limited sitting space, so if you're more than 2 people, I would recommend picking it up and eating at home. I noticed they also deliver through justeat.

You Don't get much for the price you pay! No flavour in the Halibut at all! No Coleslaw as well. Pretty skimpy on the lemon piece you get.

I was in Kingston for the day and was looking online for dinner to take out and came across Fran's. The reviews were excellent so I decided it would be a fish and chip night. Fran's is really a takeout operation, although there is a counter with a couple of chairs. I ordered the cod fish and chip special to go and was extremely happy with it. It was properly cooked, tasted great and was great value as well. I wish I could find fish and chips this good in Ottawa!

Just had a cheeky bacon cheeseburger from Frans, The burger was amazing, Juicy patty, crisp lettuce and not too thick cut tomato, Crispy bacon and cheddar cheese. The Fries where the icing on the cake, crisp and thick. Best $7.50 ive spent on a burger in a long time! I will be back, I cant wait to try the fish n chips!

We didnot realize this was only a takeaway shop. The quality of our dinner overshadowed eating in our car. They were suprised that american travlers found Frans on Trip Advisor.
