If the food court's business is that slow/poor, then why keep it open?!? It used to be a decent food court, but now their selection of items on the menu is a joke. Seriously considering ending my membership that I've had long before the name change to Costco... 40 year member. Sam's Club is so much better in EVERY aspect!
This is my preferred Costco location even though Hawthorne is closer. The customer service is so much better that it's worth driving the extra few minutes. Even the other customers are more pleasant at this location. The employees here actually seem to enjoy their jobs and get along with each other as well which makes for a much nicer shopping experience. The parking lot is very difficult to maneuver due to being shared with In N Out but just try going during off-peak hours and be willing to park and walk a bit. The selection of meat is much better at this location in particular and I like getting the ribeyes. Calling to talk with the administrative staff is also a pleasant experience and they are very efficient with helping you locate items.
I shop here a lot. I shop for my office and personal so I 'm in here weekly. Its a love/hate relationship. I hate that there are so many dogs in the store. The sign outside clearly says service dogs only. I literally heard a person tell the door clerk the dog was for theirs allergies. This is managements fault 100%. If they stood out there and enforced people wouldn 't ' be so rude but anyways on to what brought me here. I noticed that this Costco has a huge clothing department and a huge **** problem. Every time I 'm in there I see people throwing clothes everywhere. Why do the workers not say anything? My husband pointed out that they are burnt out. And they are. I asked a women for help and she was friendly and helpful but as she was speaking some **** buts in and demands for her to answer his question. No excuse me of can you please help me next. The poor lady had to treat him like a toddler and tell Culver City Kyle to wait a second for his turn. Even looking at the reviews you see the entitlement. This place could be great if it was managed better. The food court is always in disarray. Get bigger and better signage Costco. Use glowing arrows to heard us to the correct windows please. And people should not act like babies in here. Its not an exclusive club, pay $60 and you 're in. Please bring back the turkey sandwich. The roat beef is ass....
I never thought I would be writing a negative review for COSTCO, but I am. I have bought all my computers, printers at COSTCO for years because of their excellent Concierge Tech service and warranties. Their Concierge Tech Service is no longer what it used to be. It went from excellent to very poor. I had called about my H P Envy Photosmart Printer in September. The gal tech was not at all knowledgeable and could not help me. I could not print. Yet I had printed the night before. I had bought a new H P cartridge so why wasn 't my printer working? I asked her to log on. They no longer offer the log me on service. She did not offer to call HP like the techs used to do when they could not help. I asked her to. H P in the Philippines said they had to charge me. They also would not do a log me on . The solution was that my a little over 2 year old printed was beyond repair and all that I was offered was to buy a new HP printer. My printer went through all the machinations and seemed to be working but was not printing. I returned the cartridge and out the new HP cartridge in and my printer worked fine. The only issue was the scanner which needed to have the driver updated.Today, I called about my Lenovo Ideapad 3 purchased September 27, 2021 so it is a year out of Lenovo 's warranty and 10 days out of the Costco 2 year warranty. The gal tech assured me she knew laptops and could help with my issue. She couldn 't do a log me on as Costco has discontinued that very valuable service. My Lenovo would not stay on. It turned off and had the message about automatic repair. She had me turn on and hold the power button. It went on briefly with that same message and went dark. She asked me to use another cord. I did not have a second cord. Plug it in to another outlet. It still did not stay turned on. The tech was done. She said the Costco warranty reverted to Citi Bank, call them. I asked her to call Lenovo. She tried and was on hold over 5 minutes and said it happens all the time and she cannot be on hold. What was I to do? Call Citi. I asked about my previous trouble ticket for my scanner but since my Lenovo was not working, we could not add a new driver. I used my Lenovo Chrome book and the scanner worked. I managed by myself to get the Recovery on my Lenovo. But the Tech could not help further to help with getting my key and the recovery. I spoke with her supervisor and asked if he was knowledgeable on this recovery issue. He was not. He agreed the log me on was an invaluable tool. His suggestion was I go to Geek Squad or some other service at Best Buy, Office Depot. I see no reason to buy my computers, printers at Costco anymore. They HAD excellent Concierge Tech service with knowledgeable techs and with the log me on service. Their techs are not knowledgeable, do not want to spend time, and cannot help. If a supervisor refers customers to Geek Squad, then buy devices at Best Buy. Bring back the log me on service.
Food court has gone downhill. No onions for hotdogs, no pizza options other than pepperoni, soda always tastes weird. Worst part is you need to show membership card to order food. What a disappointment this has become since the early 2000s.
