Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe tried the breakfast buffet at this restaurant and found it to be quite mediocre. It was not a good experience overall, except for the omelet station which was the only highlight. The chef was excellent! The service and the views of the falls were also great. However, for a price of $30, we recommend walking across the street to Tony Roma for a better breakfast option.
We had a great experience at this restaurant with a view of Niagara Falls! Booking a table for 8 people was easy using Open Table. However, the hostesses seemed unaware that Terrapin Cafe was available on Open Table. Despite showing them my reservation email, they initially said they did not take breakfast reservations. Eventually, they were able to seat us since the restaurant was not busy. Our server, Justin, was excellent, and the food was delicious. We did encounter a small issue when we asked for directions to Terrapin Cafe. The Marriott Lobby staff did not know where it was, saying it was called Morton's Grill instead. When we arrived at Morton's Grill, we found a poster for Terrapin Cafe offering breakfast. Our receipt also confirmed we dined at Terrapin Cafe. These issues are more with the Marriott Hotel, but their staff should be aware of the different restaurant names and that breakfast reservations can be made through Open Table.
This restaurant is a great place to visit while seeing Niagara Falls! Booking a reservation for 8 people was easy through OpenTable. However, the hostesses were not aware that Terrapin Cafe reservations could be made through OpenTable. Despite their initial confusion, they were able to accommodate our party of 8 with no problem. Our server, Justin, was fantastic and the food was delicious. The only issue we encountered was trying to find the Terrapin Cafe. Even after asking two people in the Marriott lobby, we were given incorrect information. Eventually, we found out that the Terrapin Cafe is actually called Morton's Grill. This confusion seemed to be more of a Marriott hotel issue rather than OpenTable's fault. Overall, a great experience at the restaurant, just be prepared for some confusion about the location of the Terrapin Cafe.
We went for the cheapest breakfast buffet. It was horrible. The only good thing was the omelet station. The chef was fantastic! The service was good and so was the view of the storm. I recommend going across the street to Tony Roma for breakfast instead.
Good food, friendly service, one of the greatest views to start your day right facing the majestic Niagara Falls.
