Shorty's Place - Port Aransas

Great place for a cold beer on their open deck with my dog. Very pet friendly you do not have to even go in just order from the deck through the window. Water bowl available. Super friendly dive bar and the beer is ice cold. Highly Recommend!!

Stopped by while on my honeymoon. This place is a gem in Port Aransas and has great live music. Everything about this place is perfect. Good friendly people, drinks are cold and awesome bartender!

One of my favorite dive bars in all of Texas. I hear they're moving it in a year or so. Has withstood, four or five hurricanes, probably in its third location now, but Port Aransas is being regentrified. GO there before it doesn't exist.Proudly have a sticker on my car. Prime real estate section of my Auto.

What a treasure! Unique in so many ways. Used to be THE place to go after fishing or to listen to live music. But it will be torn down too. Replaced with condos. Again...the rich have it all. Where we go now?
