Shorty's Place - Port Aransas

Great little neighbour bar. good drinks. pooltic. patio. dog-friendly. good people and a tradition where they nail ball caps to the decks. two thumbs

What a shade! unique to so many wise. Previously, the place was to go after fishing or listen to live music. but it will also be torn. replaced with condos. the rich have everything. where are we going now?

They cannot go to port aransas without stopping at this wonderful place! always an original, always welcome and they make all feel appreciated!

Classic old place; was there forever and has changed a little (that is a good thing;) very friendly staff and long-term customers; the other places in the city receive the new visitors; the long times come here; amazing collection of hats on the deck; small fast-level pool table; years ago they would cut their hair on the covered deck outside; very low key atmosphere

Just a fun little local bar almost right on the harbor. Locals and tourists having a good time in a beautiful little city. Lots of history....... Stay at the historical Tarpon Hotel across the street. It was Franklin D Roosevelt's favorite hotel in Texas.
