Fatburger - Vancouver

Maybe we were lucky and everything was good. Good burger, fresh fries and one of the best shakes offered in a fast food restaurant. Small and clean. Friendly stuff and the counter. I would go there again.

We popped in for some chicken but left feeling like we had emptied our souls and sold them to the devil for half the price. This place leaves much to be desired. Other than that, decor is nice, food is cheap and staff are friendly but slow.

I've been to other Fat Burger restaurants before and have had a good experience but this one is shocking. First the woman behind the counter got the order wrong and was really awkward about correcting it. Then when the corrected order came out the chicken was so fried it was solid. I ordered a combo with an ice tea and the machine must have needed changing because it was like drinking water. Felt like I couldn't even ask for her to change my drink because of the screw up with the order. For the price you pay for a damn burger, this was so disappointing. The cherry on top was the washroom which does not lock so expect a stranger to walk in on you!

It's ok but a obvious second to Vera's across the street. Young lady at the counter was very nice but getting the order into the computer right was quite an ordeal and then still forgot the onion rings. Burger was decent but really nothing special. Prices are significant. Been more satisfied at other locations.

After two weeks traveling across Canada we have finally come to our last night and decided to go for a simple burger. After a bit research it appeared that Fat Burger was one of the top choices and conveniently very close to where we are staying. Burger was decent and the poutine with bacon was very good. Not the best burger I've had in Canada, that prize goes to Uniburger in Montreal which I can not recommend highly enough. However, this was pretty good. Also the girl who served us was very friendly despite the fact we came in pretty close to closing time.
