Everything you need and more. . . with the Outback price tag as expected. This is a very well-stocked IGA. Many fruits and vegetables and vegan prepacked salads. Large supply of vegetable milk, Mustlex, soy yogurts, dips, pre-packed microwave flours and a small number of cheeses. Yes vegan ice cream too. Visit early for fresh bread!
Managed to grab two vegan dips and a salsa after seeing through the many milk-based dips, and a puppet net of olives for snack. Many soya/ almond milk and nuttelex, but could not find coconut yogurt or vegan cheese. Have discovered some veggie snags burgers in a refrigerator, but nothing else. Lots of fruit veins. It is a cramped IGA that has not been updated since the 1980s, but it will do the job for your basic needs when arriving to Uluru. Note: You are the only place in the resort that still accepts cash. Lots of snacks and lollies that are vegan, if you’re not sure, highly recommend downloading the fussy vegan app so you can scan the barcode and it will tell you if it’s vegan or not. Lots of fresh veggies and fruit, bread and possibly vegan mayo so you can make yourself nice sandwiches. Saw lots of vegan ice creams like magnums in the freezer section. Also plant based milk available. Didn’t see any vegan cheese. Also saw one frozen vegan meal, not sure where you’d find a microwave if you’re staying at the resort.
Really. This is where you can get all your supplies, including vegan dairy and pantry items. Some items are quite reasonably priced considering how remote it is. We bought up here and had a picnic with dips, chips, crackers, bread, nuts, chocolate, oreos, sun-dried tomatoes and olives.
