Dake Japanese Restaurant - Abbotsford

My family ordered five rolls from this restaurant. Unfortunately, each roll was disappointing. I tried the Beef Teriyaki roll and found the beef to be overcooked and chewy. My dad ordered a deep-fried California roll that was undercooked, with mushy and doughy dough. The service was also not satisfactory, but it may have been due to us arriving 30 minutes before closing. Despite the poor service, we expected our food to be prepared correctly at least.

One of the best all you can eat sushi places in town. The pacing and portions are well thought out. They encourage you to have a good time but to be mindful of waste, which is done well here. The food is fresh and the variety is immense. You will be hard pressed to not find something to your liking here.

The food at this restaurant was amazing! No complaints there. However, the service was just okay. The server seemed annoyed and not very enthusiastic. Additionally, the lack of lighting in the dining room, with only natural light coming through the windows, was a bit odd. Despite these issues, we will likely give this place another try because the food was just that good. The parking lot was small but we had no trouble finding a space. There may be potential issues if the restaurant and other businesses in the area get busy.

Yesterday, four of us went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered Teriyaki Vegetable Yakisoba. After returning to work, I started experiencing severe stomach cramps and felt like I was going to pass out. I had to keep going to the washroom multiple times. I immediately saw a nurse who diagnosed me with food poisoning, which I had experienced once before years ago. I called the restaurant today to explain the situation, but the lady I spoke with only thanked me for calling and seemed disinterested when I tried to provide details about the food I had ordered. I was very disappointed by this response. I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else had a similar issue.

Fantastic service and excellent food. Went for the all you can eat dinner and it is 100% worth it. The food is so fresh and the quality is phenomenal. Definitely recommend
