Perfect for a night away with work. Couldn’t fault the rooms and the food at the adjoining restaurant was great! Would recommend

My godparents had their 50th anniversary there and I couldn’t make it being from Canada, but I’ve just been and it did not disappoint!! It started with the best scotch egg I’ve ever had. The local pear and barbecue sauce with it was so good I could put it on everything! Then I had their feathered flank of beef that did not require a knife at all it was so tender. It was accompanied by the nicest gravy, no heartburn or bloating after. Great meal, and the staff were attentive and very professional. The new waiter over from Ardo House deserves a raise! He was spot on all night long and a joy to deal with :

The experience at the restaurant was great overall, but the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging the surprise party that we had planned.

Average eating, poor service, over price and what happened dinge, who liked to eat lunch like a sandwich combo or a caesar salad? I don't want to thank a roast chicken very much. so disappointed come here for years...but will not be back unless serious improvements are made.
