Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn Saturday, I stopped in for some fish and chips and a quick Spey's Cadet before visiting the cathedral nearby. The bartenders were friendly, and I was disappointed that I couldn't sample any of the whiskies.
I visited this pub with friends over the weekend to celebrate the end of a friend's university course. I hadn't been here since my own university days and I had forgotten how great of a pub it is. It's a must-visit in Old Aberdeen. The staff and regulars are very friendly. We ended up staying longer than planned and had a meal because we enjoyed it so much. The food was delicious, with honest pub fare that was better than some of the restaurants in town. We will definitely be returning sooner next time.
I had a great experience at this cozy bar in Old Aberdeen. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was lively with chatty locals. The food was delicious and the prices for both food and real ales were slightly lower compared to town.
Lovely bar but I wouldn’t eat here after seeing the state and smell from the toilet. To be honest the whole place feels sticky and smells like a deep fat fryer. On another note they do have a good selection of whiskey. Will I come back? Maybe. Would I recommend this place for food? No. If the bathroom is unclean what state is their kitchen like. Also did a bit of looking up and their hygiene certificate didn’t get a pass, so yeah just stick to having a drink.
The food is awful I got chicken skewers nothing like in picture it’s basically what you get from Asda for £1. Chicken wings a teaspoon of peri Piti sauce. Don’t order from for what they charge it’s shocking daylight robbery.
