The ladies from the community cafe came to my aid, picking me up, calming me, taking me to the toilet and then giving me a lift to the doctors surgery then back to my car. I didn’t get a chance to sample the food but I did get a huge portion of their kindness and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
Went in past here for a coffee on the way to Aberdeen. There is car parking in the square next to the cafe but you need a parking disc which you get from the cafe. We both had black coffees, a Victoria sponge and a coffee cake all of which were ok. The cafe is small and was quite hot when we were in. The cafe is run by a charity and was very reasonably priced for what we had.
Run entirely by volunteers. Not a bad little stop to settle some hungry bellies. Not much available at 3 in the afternoon and a bit pricey for what we had but nice staff and nice village. Cash only so be prepared.
The items we selected (fish and chips) was good but portions were small for the price. Service was good
This wee cafe is run entirely by volunteers who are very friendly. The home baking is lovely as is the home made soup on a cold day.
