LA FOGATA - Acapulco de Juárez

We go there once a week all winter long. Very good chicken for a very cheap price. It is a kind of garden restaurant all opened. It is close to the waterfront and stores so we go do our grocery when we come back from...dinner there.

This old garden grill has excellent hugging, steak tacos and much more. no frills, fast service, cheap prices and tasty to boot. small menu, very popular with locals for dive and run.

Best. always. I wanted to try this place already, but never seemed to find time for it. I'm so glad to finally have eaten here and come back again and again. elaborate filling.

I have been trying to get over here for a long time as everyone says it is the best or one of the best char grilled chicken in town. Acapulco has many places that make great chicken but La Fogata is terrific a huge breast...and wing with fries for 42 peso which is about 2.33 USD which is absurd. Based on the chicken Fogata gets a 5 but for those that look for or want atmosphere not your type of place. If you want a real feel mexican restaurant and eat with the locals stop in you will be glad you did. Best chicken i have had for sure!!

Great neighborhood joint. Out of the way. Not touristy. Best charcoal grilled chicken in Acapulco if not the world! Dinner for four with Coronas, two orders of grilled onions and fries..... $15.00 US including 20% TIP! What more can I say.
