Usually the wings are good, but you must ring in advance and they are only available 2 nights a week. The owner is quite rude as you can see their responses below for yourself. As a war veteran who has been injured in combat I ask that you boycott this place. The owner is not welcome for my service as this is not the sort of person who 's freedom I was fighting for. As you can see the owner is also the sort of person who supports childish name calling, I recommend you now avoid this place, customer service does not seem to be the owners strong point. You would think the owner of all people would lead by example, if this is the person the staff follows then I wouldn 't expect much. It seems to be a common trend that the staff are rude, and its obvious this is the attitude of the owner. I 'm not sure if the owner actually knows what a hard days work is, if they did perhaps they could understand that people might expect the same sort of hard work back in return for the services they have provided. If you support and respect the people of this country who fight for your freedom please boycott this place and tell your friends. The owner regularly insults people by calling them a Karen as a response to a poor review. Other restaurants in the area seem to have no issues selling chicken wings each night. Why does this place think they are special? I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Such a nice local pub. Good beers that are craft but owned by big corporations. The calamari was super tasty and good sized. The beer garden at the back was ideal

First time at this venue and was not dissappointed, quirky inside with a great outdoor entertaining and eating spot. Good range of food and drink to choose from with some good value specials, so will return.

4 of us went pre match This place is electric .menu has plenty of variety plenty of beers on tap great choice wines. Food here is seriously good well balanced lovely flavors and great standard The service here is impeccable our waitress was excellent couldn't do enough for us well done Gilbert hotel will be a pleasure to come back

Cool vibe, good front bar with outdoor street front seating. Outdoor and indoor seating for meals. Very dark lit toilets. Food menu us typical pub fare pizzas, burgers, a few pasta dishes, fish, squid, prawns, salads, tapas and chef shared platters. Quiet on Saturday for lunch. Food arrived quickly after ordering. We visited the Central Market but it was too manic to eat there! Only 5 mins walk from the market. Good place for a get together or cold beer. Staff friendly. Variety of beer on tap and good wine list. Enjoyed visit.
