Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is a great restaurant in a beautiful village snd is worth a trip or a detour if you are in the area. If you are travelling from Monemvasia, make sure that you do not turn left in the village of Velies (Google Maps may tell you to do so but this is a rough track and if you ignore the advice Google will immediately reroute to the better road! The restaurant serves traditional Greek food, which is freshly cooked and really delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and the menu was helpfully translated into English. The Greek salad and spinach pie and fried cheese we chose as appetisers were excellent. For our main courses we opted for lamb chops and pork ribs with fried potatoes. These came in very generous portions and were perfectly cooked and really tasty. We loved our meal and the price was also very reasonable. We were served water, local black olives and bread as well as a small sweet dessert without charge. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Greek tavern located in a secluded village. Excellent traditional dishes with more than honest prices, friendly staff and a family atmosphere. Excellent for those who are nearby. Advice for those arriving from Malvasia, pay attention to the directions on Google Maps and make sure that the road it suggests (despite being indicated as the fastest) is not a dirt road. Very small family-run tavern.... Outside the restaurant on the veranda 3/4 tables and the rest inside. It is located in the small town square where there is a small church in laconic style which is a jewel. Ordered a dish of oven-baked chicken which was delicious, a little less so were the french fries which if they had been oven-baked too would have been a spectacle. Tzaziki also well made and very delicate, absolutely not overpowering with garlic. Followed by spinach in puff pastry with a sprinkling of cheese that could have been parmesan. Phenomenal. Warm bread with a glaze of olive oil made from their olive trees and spiced with oregano. A quarter of red wine. One and a half liters of water. To finish they also offered me dessert which was really good... All for 19 euros. The Greece of the past that knows how to cook and treats tourists as welcome guests is here. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended
