Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe have authentic Kurdish cuisine in istanbul, so we have expected much more than we have. the quality of the ingredients used is great and the aromen are beautiful, but it does not have the spice-kick we were looking for and which we had found in full during our trip to istanbul. we will still recommend it for the most authentic restaurant of this type in the neighbourhood and because of the friendly prompt service.
Eating here is so tasteful and always perfectly cooked. we look forward to their new location, tbd.
The menu is wide, eating delicious and the service standard. we would return to this restaurant.
We had the best time at Niroj! The evening we went they had live musicians, and a special prix fixe menu. The food was great I will be back to sample other things on the menu. There wasn't a thing we didn't like. The bread was fresh and warm, the salad sparkled, the lamb was succulent, the kebobs were ample (we took a bit home). The desserts were amazing. The baklava was light and sweet, just the right finish to the meal.
Started with the lentil soup, fire roasted red bell pepper dip, fried zucchini patties (they're so good you'd think they were made of meat! and proceeded to the Niroj kebab as our main course. Everything was superb!! You get the sense that their chef really has a passion for cooking his native foods!! Definitely the best restaurant in the gastronomic wasteland that is Conejo Valley/ Agoura Hills area. Fellow foodies, PLEASE try this place!!!
