El Patron Tequileria - Akron

Had 2 regular margaritas and the chicken fajitas. Service was SUPERB. Food and drinks good. Recommend when you are downtown Akron

We were looking forward to a fun night out and their place was entirely disappointing. The margarita flight was a fruit smoothie with a splash of tequila. The margaritas we ordered had no tequila in them at all. The guacamole had no flavor, the pico de gallo was 90% onion, and was $25 for the large trio. The restaurant was dirty and the staff all seemed to be confused about what was happening. All around, we would never return.

The food was good. It can be somewhat noisy. The server was very pleasant and got the orders correct, but she should have checked on us more often. If she had, we would have ordered dessert and Irish Coffee.

We had a great meal before going across the street to Greystone Hall to see a production at the Ohio Shakespeare Festival. The margarita flights were fun and the food was delicious. We will return soon.

Excellent food, excellent drinks, good atmosphere. The only thing lacking was service (we had to flag someone down to even take our drink order) which unfortunately is not a new issue for El Patron and not specific to any one server.
