As it was a sunny day we sat at one of the tables. They have a good choice of teas and they speak English. I had coffee and Jackie had a speciality tea which only cost us 3.50E for both. Nice place to stop off at.
Friendly lady and good service. My cappuccino wasn't all that great but the sandwiches were rally nice, and quite big as well so it kept us going for quite some time. There's a small terrace with some sun in yellow afternoon.
Great value rough ready cafe bang in the centre of town next to the church. Has regulars ensconsed at the bar that you may have to elbow past. Does prosecco Frizzante on tap at 1.60 euros a glass. They bring FREE tapas style food after your second glass. Ham Cheese toasties are good value. A great start to your evening in a rub shoulders2 with the locals kind of way. Fabulous value if you don 't mind old fashioned crossed with deliverance?
The vibrant Guide Bar and more posh Vinero Bar are the two most popular apres ski cafe/bars in Alagna. However, should you feel like having a quiet drink amongst locals, without the need to shout or be overheard, this simple cafe/bar just opposite the Church is an attractive alternative, and serves different free snacks with alcohol drinks. For chocolate lovers here you can find quality Italian chocolates.
A lovely little cafe in the middle of Alagna, this is a no-frills restaurant cum bar, and in the early evening, serves free tapas-style snacks with drinks. They are delicious! And abundant! We came back over and over because they were so delicious. Very kind and friendly staff too. Great for apres ski drinks, if you aren't after a bustling atmosphere. This is quiet, and full of locals.
