Taqueria Alonzo - Albany

I'm from texas and this is the best Mexican food I've had since living in Albany for two years.

Love this place! Taco salads, ceviche tostada and vegetarian or fish tacos are my go-to. Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos are great, pretty much anything can be made vegetarian if you leave off the meat. Kid-friendliness: The arcade in the same complex used to be a big draw, but it has relocated to the hallway of the complex and leaves something to be desired. They have wonderful decorations and pieces of heritage throughout the restaurant that my son looks at, and my sister brings her kids here quite often. They have lots of little quarter machines by the doors, too.

Food is amazing, weekend soup is everything a hangover needs, pozole is a treat, fish tacos are very delicious. Best pork carnitas in albany

Delicious food and generous portions, enough to fill up two active teenagers! Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.
