Avaliação da contribuiçãoTuvimos una comida deliciosa aquí esta noche. El servicio fue rápido, amable y educado. No nos apresuraron y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos. La comida era excelente: generosas porciones de comida de buena calidad. We had a lovely meal here this evening. The service was prompt, friendly and polite. We were not rushed and were made to feel welcome. The food was great generous portions of good quality food.
We went here because a number of spanish friends had recommended it. We decided against the Menu del Dia and afterwards realised we had made the wrong decision. Firstly, the inside of the restaurant is lovely with some really interesting paintings. The service is good, efficient and attentive but not too much. We had booked which was lucky as the place got packed out. It was a friday lunchtime but, again, we realised it was probably down to the excellent value of the menu del dia. Anyway, we started by sharing the mushroom risotto which was delicious. I had chosen the beef entrecot which was very good and came with a pepper sauce which I found just a bit too salty. The problem was my husband who had the hake; it was obviously defrosted which is not too much of a problem but he had to leave most of it as the flesh was just not edible. It was defrosted but the texture was not good. We will go again but we will opt for the menu next time as that is clearly the way to go.
From outside La Tomatina looks like an average bar, but hidden inside is a lovely restaurant with comfortable seats, tasteful decoration and a warm ambiance. Service could not have been better. Our young waiter, whose English was better than our Spanish, described the dishes on offer and helped us with our selection. For our first starter we four shared a delicious warmed goats cheese salad. It had a mix of textures and flavours, and the portion was more than we could manage. But then followed an amazing tuna tartare served on a long flat dish with sliced avocado, chopped tomato, rice and a fruit purée, which might have been mango and banana. We happily scoffed the lot. For the main courses we had fillet steaks, entrecote steak and pork chops. A clever extra was a small hot plate on which, those of us who liked the steak more well done, could give it some additional cooking. A fabulous dinner and our doggy bag with salad and steak was sufficient for next day's lunch! We can't wait to return.
Comida bien aunque, aunque alguna sorpresa te puedes llevar con la carne, calamares muy buenos pero lo cierto es que a la hora de pagar el camarero te puede cambiar el precio que aparece en la carta y encarecer el plato 4€ por la cara y te dice que lo acaba de cambiar y asin más cosillas. Cuidado con las cosas sin precio de la carta puede tener un disgusto cuando te traen la cuenta.
Gran restaurante en la aldea de Santa Ana, muy cerca de Alcalá la Real. Menu del día con gran relación calidad precio, gran selección de carnes maduradas (fuera del menú diario), repostería exquisita de postre, y entrantes con muy buena pinta (nosotros elegimos el carpaccio). Si volvemos por la zona, repetiremos sin duda.
