Cafeteria Palacios - Alfaro

Checked into the hotel, receptionist very friendly and helpful and rooms clean. Visited the cafeteria/restaurant and found the drinks were expensive and the staff not particularly helpful. Returned in the evening for food and once again had the same experience…. food nothing special but expensive. 2 thin slices of chicken breast with a handful of frozen chips €10,90, main courses brought before starter! Had to ask for condiments and sauces. We were here just for the night on the way to the ferry in Santander..just glad we were not staying longer. Hotel staff lovely, and reasonably priced… shame the cafeteria spoiled it. Give it a miss

Excellent service and value. The set menu is limited and all in Spanish but both my husband and I were delighted with our choices (mostly fish)

Ate here while staying at Hotel Palacios (Highly recommended) Menu of the day was excellent value for high quality food. 12 euro at a weekend and included 3 courses a drink, bread and coffee for that price. the delicious breads and pastries are sumptuous too. Friendly and efficient service completes the package.

Un restaurante lizarran situado en los mismos palacios del hotel. los fines de semana tienen un menú a 15 euros, con tres entradas y un segundo para elegir. la comida es muy buena y es de calidad. servicio rápido y agradable. recomendado.

Lugar agradable, con un servicio muy amable y atento. con comedor exterior muy bien preparado. Nos gustaría el menú del día que era muy bueno. el menú tenía una amplia variedad de platos con muy buen aspecto. Era más gratificante ver las raciones y todo era muy sabroso. Si vuelvo a atravesar la olla, repetiremos.
