The Tankerville Arms

Enjoyed a lovely meal at this very welcoming country style pub tonight. The food was delicious and good value; the staff attentive. I was very grateful to receive a call from them shortly after leaving to ask if I had lost a bracelet I hadn't even realised and I was able to go back collect it. I highly recommend it.

We have just spent 2 days at The Tankerville Arms. The accommodation, food, choice of drinks, staff and location were first class. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help in any way. We ate in the restaurant both nights during our stay and enjoyed tasty, excellent portions of food, all served hot. The breakfasts too were excellent! Although this is a very long way from home, we hope to return again in the near future and we will happily recommend you to friends. Many thanks to you all for a super start to our holiday! Nearby activities: Close to Alnwick and the Northumbrian coast.

A really nice clean country pub. We called in for a meal having read some good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Tasty home cooked and good value. Would definitely recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
