If you are a vegan Arab, you may miss traditional dishes like Labaneh and Shawerma. However, this restaurant offers the best vegan Labaneh balls made from cashews that are almost indistinguishable from the non-vegan version. Their frozen chicken-style Seitan Shawerma can also be enjoyed at home by simply adding shrak bread, pickles, and garlic mayo. In addition, they offer a variety of products including desserts, nut butters, samosas, cheeses, and more. You can find them on the Noor Healthy app or Facebook.
I ordered from this restaurant for delivery only. I messaged them on Facebook and Instagram, where we corresponded on Whatsapp. They were quick to answer my many questions and provide tons of information. I placed my order on a Wednesday and was offered delivery on Saturday. I loved the labenah, shawarma meat, feta, and tahini fudge. I highly recommend supporting this vegan company.
This establishment in Amman is the only one that produces vegan cheeses, and they are doing an excellent job! The feta cheese is fermented, crumbly, and delicious. The labaneh balls are incredible, despite not being fermented. The cheddar and Italian cheeses are firm cheeses made with tapioca starch, and they are also very tasty, reminiscent of old-school Uncheese cookbook recipes.
My place for vegan labaneh, yogurt and helloum. I also love their vegan chickenless lighter sticks; we cook the home with a baptism and they were heavenly.
