Lovely restaurant, wonderful service, and the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. A must-do dining experience in Amsterdam.

Me and my boyfriend we’re looking for a place to eat and walking past Akbar’s it didn’t look too great, but after we went inside it was beautiful. The service was outstanding, I asked for a recommendation from the server and he suggested something I’d never had before; King Prawn Jalfrezi. It was lovely, just the right amount of spice and they really catered to the level of heat we said we could handle. My boyfriend loved his food and it’s definitely a place we’ll go back to when we return to Amsterdam. An all round excellent experience and I would really recommend it.

I and my friend we are looking for a place to eat and to walk past Akbar’s it doesn’t look too great, but after we went into the inner it was nice. the service was excellent, I asked for a recommendation from the server and he beat something I never had before; king prawn jalfrezi. it was nice to just season the right amount and they were really at the height of the heat we said we could treat. my friend loved to be eating and it is a place where we go back when we return to amsterdam. an excellent experience and I would really recommend it.
