Avaliação da contribuição$3 for a single cup of plain rice? Did they have to go out back and harvest it themselves? Perhaps that’s what the staff was preoccupied with instead of being aware of the menu and its ingredients. If I'm going to pay that much for rice, I wonder where the rest of the money is going. The decor is non-existent, and the ambience consists of the sound of clanging pots mixed with music that resembles nails on a chalkboard echoing through a room filled with basic cafeteria tables. The meal—1.5 cups of water paired with yellow daal—was definitely not worth it. I had visited Yak Yeti twice before and distinctly remembered not enjoying the food. It had been a while, so I decided to give it another chance. Three strikes, you're out. Regarding dietary restrictions, with such a limited menu, they should have a better understanding of which dishes contain allergens.
What a fantastic spot! The food here is amazing, and if you're in a hurry, they offer a great selection of pastries and desserts for you to take on the go. The chocolate mousse is truly one of the best I've ever tasted. They also have a homemade oreo cookie that's absolutely massive! If you decide to get that giant cookie, it might be a good idea to share it with a friend. The dragon tail pastries are reminiscent of almond cookies and pair perfectly with a hot cup of chai. Speaking of which, their chai tea is outstanding! Whether you're looking for lunch, a meal to take away, or a pastry with your hot chai, Yak Yeti is definitely worth a visit. And don't forget to try their wonderful turmeric bread!
The staff is friendly and there's plenty of seating available. However, the tables could use a bit more cleanliness. The food was average. We ordered the chana masala bowl, which was decent, but we couldn't finish the chicken tikka masala bowl because the chicken didn't taste fresh.
Very inexpensive but very good. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked the options and the ability to mix and match. There are great vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. And the service is nice and very fast.
Customer service is phenomenal, all the people are very nice and super helpful. Not to mention they recommend any of their bowls and you can choose all of one or up to 3 different variations for your bowl choices. For me, there could’ve been a bit more seasoning and my favorite has to be the beef.Food comes out pretty fast and seems fresh and you can choose white or brown rice. They also have items for the ones who have a more sensitive taste palate as well.I had just water and you self serve from their already ice filled containers and the water taste good, doesn’t taste off like other places in Anchorage does. The German Chocolate brownie was my all time favorite though.
