Despite a jam packed parking lot, the restaurant was literally empty (yes, I know what literally means). There is a small bar inside the front door, and that seem to be the hangout for the 'regulars ', lots of old ladies and old men yucking it up. The restaurant itself, the dining area, including the great patio overlooking the golf course was *empty*. I asked to sit out on the patio. It was a hot sunny day, but not intolerable. I had the fried cheese appetizer and a few beers. The fried cheese was as good as it could get crispy, cooked through, with a nice pile of grated parmesan on top. Perhaps more importantly, the beer was ice cold. The waiter was friendly and attentive, so no issues at all. I keep looking around trying to figure out why nobody was there. The place is clean, airy, perhaps a little traditional for some, but I just have to guess that Joe Public thinks it 's too expensive (it 's not) or too exclusive (also no). I had one complaint the patio tables/chairs along the fence are cocktail level, so the wrought iron fence is a little annoyingly at eye level. They really need to put in some high tops around the edge to better take in the great views. I also question why they are not open on Sunday the place is always packed with golfers and pool goers. Perhaps a Christian business, I dunno, but seems like they 're missing lots of business. Overall a great visit I 'd love to see them modernize the interior a bit. It 's nice and well done, but a little stuffy and old fashioned. I 'd encourage you to drop in the prices are in line, the food was good, and the view even better. Let 's support our local places!
It was rainy the day we visited, and we were still able to enjoy the view of the golf course while enjoying good food, drinks, and excellent service. Dietary restrictions: Our server was able to help us with dietary restrictions. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
