On a large holiday with 15 people - 2 vegetarian, one gluten free and five children, Le Lucullus was recommended by the local tourist information. We went to enquire if they could accommodate us for a meal on Friday night. The chef understood our needs and we spent a most enjoyable evening in a room on our own with it been a large group. The service was excellent, the waitresses could not do enough to help with the menu. The food was exceptional and the additional starter and desserts on top of what we ordered were a very pleasant surprise.
Great service , very friendly . I have been hear several times and this time the main course , fillet de boeuf was perfect. The cellar surroundings form a delightful atmosphere. Pity that they never change the menu.
Ate there during my stay in Angers. They served is pretty fast. Food was delicious but little quantity. I was still hungry leaving the restaurant. You should try their chocolate cake which is just amazingly delicious.
We went the lowest cost menu option so our evening was incredibly good value. The food, for the price, was quite good. My husbands lamb was a little small but all other dishes were quite good. I'd trust that if we had ordered the more expensive menus that the quality of food would have increased too.The service and cave setting was absolutely lovely.
