The Songbird Cafe - Ann Arbor

Know a good food place when I find one. Top-notch food is all about the detail and at Songbird: the homemade potato chips, just the right amount of toastiness of the bread, just the right balance of syrup and fizz in the cream soda, fully aromatic, moist but not-too-sweet tastiness of bourbon bread pudding all made for a flawless meal. Thumbs up.

The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was clean and spacious, with nice decor (especially the burlap coffee bag seats! . Many interesting options for coffee, tea and sandwiches. Will try to come back again soon.

Great and different latte's! Loved! We ordered lavender latte, caramel latte, the menu offers black pepper , cardamon, rosemary, and sea salt to name a few of the different flavors offered. Very nice ambiance. Bakery items look sinful!

Awesome coffee! The lavender latte is great and their pistachio turkey sandwich is my favorite. Consistent and never lets me down! My only complaint is the rosemary latte tastes nothing like it and could definitely use some more flavor.

We've enjoyed the west side cafe but visited the north when we delivered a leaded glass door my husband repaired. We were greeted by the owner, Mr. Song, who not only paid for the repair but treated us to lunch. As always, the sandwiches were fresh and delicious and the soups hot and flavorful. Coffee was good and my ginger iced tea was divine. Highly recommend.
