Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy friend and I came on a Sunday night at 8. We had no reservation, but there were several open tables (more than 5). The host said they accept no one who had no reservations. We went outside (where there were more open tables) and I called a reservation. The same host answered the phone and said they were full. I went online and made a reservation about their website / open table. 5 minutes later we went in and sat. I understand that they probably wanted to make sure that they were in time (they close at 9:30), but it was still strange and smelling in the wrong way. The food was amazing as it is usually. The chicken in my Penne Alla vodka was a touch overboiled, but still good. Your hibiscus mash are super delicious. The experience with the host will not deter me from the return, and I am glad to go back there.
I came to dinner while what turned out to be eating under the stars. Despite no reservations they were so courteous! The food was amazing and the service was even better. My waitress Mary ensured that I was greeted and satisfied with my experience. I urge everyone to try Luna Blu if they are in the mood for good Italian cuisine!
Overall a very nice culinary experience. The restaurant was small but very comfortable and relaxing. There are indoor and outdoor seating for groups from four to six, and tables can be moved around when space is available. Our hosts and servers were friendly and professional. The dinner menu has a wide selection of Italian cuisine that includes appetizers and desserts. There is an extensive wine list and other cocktails and alcoholic drinks. The fresh bread was the best. Hot, fresh and delicious. For my meal I had a Sangria, the Penne alla Vodka, with a chocolate mousse for dessert. A pleasant evening and pleasant meal.
? Content: In my opinion, the entire army is out of force. I can't understand 424 reviews in 4.5 stars with a tasteless lunch here. The restaurant attracts charm and interior design is charming, service was friendly and professional, Negroni was perfection, wine list very good, but the food was blazing. August 2022 near Pasadena for a 10:00 a.m. meeting, that went better for me than I expected on a beautiful day blue sky, puffy white clouds and long come break from the expanded heat wave that we have experienced, I decided to drive the short distance to Annapolis for lunch before I return to Vienna a bit more than an hour drive. I've been visiting Annapolis for more than four years. I have a friend who lived there that I borrowed in the past for restaurant selections that did not pick up my call for a spontaneous lunch. On my own to choose a place for lunch, drive on West Street, I parked in the game next to Stan and Joe?s Saloon find a bank a few doors away, neatly peruse Google reviews of the many restaurant options around me just a few steps away and all oozing attractive Kurb appeal. Luna Blu right across the street from where I sat looked particularly attractive and showed 4.5 stars Google review with 424 reviews. Within LB the restaurant dripping with charm, as small places like these often have the tendency. The compact, narrow dining room looked at my eye on place approx. 45 guests and there was no bar. At the dinner solo I prefer to pull it at a bar that is usually available. One of two servers, Chrissie, friendly and professional, put me right away. At 13:45 a.m., the crowd of lunch paid their cheques and left. Chrissie took my drink order with my Negroni recipe (1 shot gin, 1/2 shot compari and 1/4 shot sweet wormwood on rocks and spanned in a rock glass). It was perfect. Then I asked about Ciabatta or a rustic bread and knew that I was in trouble when she said neither was possible, only house bread. The house bread was like a store bought frozen dinner rolls. I ordered Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto, who had the taste profile of tap water. Although the dish served piping hot and shrimp was fresh, Risotto was lumpy and tasteless, asparagus finely chopped and tasteless. I decided to check other options nearby for dessert and coffee to save the day. To tasteful risotto seasoned bearings are added in steps. Stir each increment until the Aborio rice softens it before adding more experienced bearings. Repeat cycles until Risotto is creamy. It is a labor-intensive, labor-intensive process that delivers a great taste accounting. Not here.
My favorite restaurant while visiting Annapolis for the first time from out of state . Went for lunch on a Tuesday, absolutely a great experience. Location: near the downtown area, on west street. Amongst other restaurants and businesses. Limited street parking we parked at a garage and used the free pink shuttle to get to the area . Atmosphere: small dining area but classy. I dressed casual in black jeans and a simple blue button down shirt nothing fancy with sandals. Saw alot of people from wine tours come and go after sampling. Natural lighting from the window. All tables, no booths. Staff: very nice waitress. Attentive and was able to recommend places to see- even brought us a map of the area. Food: green tomatoes, bread, scallops, polenta, soups, calamari, picatta, alfredo, spaghetti, tortellini, and build your own pasta dish. Ordered the farfalle di creamona- aka seafood alfredo shrimp, scallops, crab with bowtie pasta and alfredo sauce and it was absolutely delicious. A light alfredo sauce with large seafood no tiny pieces of scallops and no small shrimp! . It was a generous portion and worth the money $15 . Prices: felt fair for the portions and proteins involved. I think the lunch entrees ranged about $9-16 depending on the item. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you are in the area!
