Cafe Restaurant Compose

I have gone to many restaurant in my life .But have never been treated like this . First the ask if I have we had reservation when there is not sign saying that. Second they said we do not sever Hors D,oeuvers . We were dress down because we were on Vacation . Three seeing the foam going down river is not the best thing to see . My scallop were raw in the middle when I said some thing they said that is the way they do it .I have never wrought any thing bad on a restaurant before this one

Cafe Compose's food was excellent. However, the owner was shockingly rude . She loudly scolded her own waiter in front of us for having sat us at a table she had reserved for another customer. We changed our table and quietly assured the waiter it was okay.

Exceptionally good lobster and scallops! Sat on the porch and enjoyed the lovely view. Good service and an all-around top-notch experience.

Great food, we've eaten here numerous times and the food is always consistent. Service was great, polite prompt. Excellent value for your meal. If you only have one night in this town, eat here.

What a wonderful evening for our Anniversary! The food was exceptional and beyond our expectations in a small town. Fresh and imaginative in every detail. Amanda, the owner, goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and safe almost like you were in her home! Rowan is young and brings his warm personality and honest cheer each time he comes to your table. Thank you for making a special night a memorable night.
