Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was very disappointed by this place. The service is terrible and the food even worse. 99% of it is just prepackaged food that they resell as if it was home and freshly made. Just the location is nice. At dinner they do not serve pizzas, which thing you find out just by getting there.
Great pizza’s. Decent sized glass of mulled wine. Limited selection of beers. Nice inside toilets. Central location near ski school Pila.
Extremely slow and bad service. Waited more than half and hour just to order. After 40 min they told two of the courses was not available and they didn’t have more beer.
This restaurant on the ski piste offers low quality food, and the service is poor. There are much better restaurants around them. Since there are a lot of people skiing they just don't care, people are coming anyway. Very sad.
I was visiting with Interski (I'm a secondary teacher and was on a school trip to Aosta Valley) and was thrilled to find that La Maicon de Jean offered a gluten free lunch. Granted, the choice was limited (chips or a cheese ham roll) but having had zero luck in our accommodation this was a welcomed treat! No cross contamination either as the bread was served in a packet. Good size portions too which saw me through until my dinner of lettuce aubergine in the hotel!
