Tamara's Cafe - Apalachicola

I absolutely adore Tamara's and have been a loyal customer since they first opened. Although I don't come here regularly, I always make sure to stop by when I'm in the area.

It appears that Bottoms Up restaurant is closed, as another establishment has taken its place at the location. It does not seem to have relocated to another location.

If I had come alone, my rating would probably be higher. I ordered the soft shell crab sandwich, hoping it wouldn't be fried. Unfortunately, it was fried.

Unfortunately, I am disappointed to share that the restaurant has closed down. I heard that the owner is now operating a food truck in a permanent location. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and was looking forward to our next meal here this weekend.

We had a pleasant experience at this charming corner restaurant, at least until our food was brought out by a runner instead of our waitress. Unfortunately, our waitress never returned to see if we needed anything else, such as more water or another drink. It wasn't until we were finished and ready for the check that someone finally came to our table, but it was the food runner and not our waitress. My spouse ordered the grouper, which was nothing special. I opted for the tabasco-marinated grouper with chorizo mac and cheese.
