Avaliação da contribuiçãoDuring a recent visit to Apalachicola, we were tasked with deciding which of the many restaurants might best serve our tastebuds. Happily we selected Tamara's Cafe. The menu was fantastically unique while remaining true to the heritage of the region. The service was fine and the prices fair. We would go again without hesitation.
Went in to grab a bite to eat and asked the waitress what she thought. Gave us her suggestions and we went with what or the 4. The food was amazing. For 2 real picky teenage kids they loved it and even asked me to leave a Christmas tip. The people were friendly and always quick to answer questions. The good was spot on and yes it smells like fish. OH ITS SEAFOOD. So yes it smells like fish is being cooked. The fish was fresh flaky and the shrimp pasta cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy and the seasoning was amazing. I would go e it a try if u get a chance to run over there and get hungry. I do have to say your gonna pay the vacation price to eat out so be ready. They do not skimp on price but not on food either.
What a gem! And a welcome break from the fried shrimp baskets everywhere else. Tabasco fried grouper cheeks over mac cheese covered in collards! Whoa! Will come back for that one! Wife had the Gyro Salad tasty, juicy meat on spinach and mixed greens with feta cheese and a thick tzatziki. Should definitely be on the list when you’re in Apalachicola.
Wonderful Service and Friendly staff! Our waitress, TaShay, was exceptionally great with our 11 year old daughter. The food was delicious!!
