Blacks Of Dunoon - Argyll Bute

I'm pretty sure this restaurant used to have a different name back in the day when I would visit with my mom on trips to the waterfront. It had a traditional tearoom decor. However, it has recently undergone a complete remodeling, which thankfully has not affected the quality of the food or service. They still offer delicious sandwiches, pies, cakes, and traybakes, along with lovely tea served in teapots. Today we tried the almond cake with hazelnut praline filling and iced fruit cake, locally known as "Flies Cemetery." It was still fantastic and definitely worth a visit.

The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I especially recommend trying the creamy desserts.
