Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is a very busy chippy. We came here by chance this evening, Thursday 23 August, and were not disappointed. Very nice area for sitting in. A young lady took our order and our fish suppers duly arrived at our table, very nicely presented on large fish shaped plates. The chips were really good.I had a good cup of tea and husband had a soft drink. When eating our meal a male member of staff came over and asked us if everything was alright. I told him it was delicious. We really enjoyed our visit here.
Armagh is not blessed with a myriad of night time sit in cafes. So JP,S Is an option, being a traditional chippy. You order at counter and pay and food is brought to table when ready. It's always busy and food is of consistent standard. Not Egon ronay but ok for a chippy. Staff are effecient and the wooden cubicles are kept clean.Burgers are really nice and rest of menu is just chippy stuff but fair and not greasy. I recommend it.
Stopped for supper. Got a steak burger with fried onions and ketchup. Tasty and sweet. Nice large thin meat patty. I had also a single battered sausage which is cut in two before frying. A good free scoop of chips garnish. Very tasty and recommended. Fair prices. Clean and friendly owner and staff.
Great tasting burgers and chips best in Armagh for a quick option. usually very busy phone ahead and place your order. Card payment available.
You order at the counter, then they bring the food to your table. They have made snug type cubicles, which have no room hardly to squeeze in. Ok for young but for elderly or infirm, very difficult. It is about the only sit in cafe open at night in Armagh, not expensive. Basic chippy grub. Priced good but portions not large. I just had two eggs, with beans and chips. At 3.60 stg it was very reasonable. And food was fair but not wow factor. Clean and busy spot. Staff efficient. I do call from time to time. Give it a try.
