Salamandra - Armenia

Salamandra combines design and style with quality service, a balanced menu and taste. We were made to immediately feel welcome sitting in an outdoor area with great views and gas heating and were served by well-known staff. The menu uses the best of local products with some international spins that suit the diverse flavors of our group. So many restaurants in this area are decorated with old coffee world charm and mediocre yet expensive food. It is great to find places that speak with local culture while looking forward to a culinary advanced and daring Colombia.

I went with a friend and he beat the baby beef meal. Just like I ordered cooked. Beautiful side salad and grill potatoes. A new fruit drink for me, lemonade with coconut milk instead of water. Very good and delicious.

This is a good solid food with a rotation of the presentation that you do not find so many cookies in Armenia. PLease take this review as a comparative price-performance view in Armenia. A visit worth. stunning view from the terrace, super servisse orientation from the staff.

Best place to eat when you are visiting Armenia. The food and service are outstanding. I especially enjoyed the steak “La Tapa de Cuadril”, a generous portion. Kids loved the chicken “Miñón de Pollo”. Later, we seated outside to have the “Cappuccino Salamandra” amused by the impressive view of the “Eje Cafetero” while children played on the playground. Salamandra is definitely a restaurant to go back with friends and family to have a great time!

This is a beautifully designed comfortable restaurant, very upscale for the area. Food is well prepared and portions are large. Very welcoming staff and excellent service. Although we were there at night, you could see that the daytime view from the outdoor patio would be spectacular. Easy to recommend.
