The Dreilanderhutte is to your right with the cablecars coming up to it. This...is in Austria and looks down over the valley below. First time a storm hit at the top, 2nd time it was misty which we were told is quite common. We had an eagle fly up and over beautiful sight again common occurrence we were told.
They call it pours apple juice but it is thin... a lot of water in.... They call it coca cola, but it tastes like coca cola with soda water.... They call it wiener schnitzel, but it looks and tastes like the sole of a shoe...with bread crumbs.... They call it french fries, but they are better used as rubber bands... .... taking money for this kind of food is daring at least....
Horrible and slow survive in the self service. Had to wait forever for our pasta after giving the orders. We were a company of four were everyone went for the same dish, hoping it would be easier for the chef to prepare.. Mediocre food. Not much to choose between. Horrible interior. View is amazing.
Bergrestaurant Dreilaendereck is situated next to the upper station of the Dreilaendereck funicular in Arnoldstein. The restaurant looks nice with an attractive "coffee and cake" offer on the blackboard outside, but once inside you learn at the self service counter that the cake on offer is of a minimal, substandard quality and if you want the real thing, serious money has to be handed over. The restaurant is obviously a monopoly, with "take it or leave it" high prices and self-service counter quality. Next time we go up we bring a thermos coffee and home made sandwiches, to be enjoyed on one of the benches scattered over the beautiful landscape and enjoy the stunning views there at the "dreilaendereck". We always come here in winter. It's reassuring to see not much changes here. This restaurant has decent tasty food and is on the cheaper side of "equivalents". The view is fantastic. With around 50 euros you will feed ur family drinks included. We hope year in year out that this place does not get bust.
