Fu Xin - Arona

Last came here a couple of years ago, it has always been popular, particularly with older Brits who enjoy the service and the free bottle of wine, which seems to have disappeared. The food was o.k. and the service as good as we remember but the final bill seemed high, they do add 7% tax to the bill, as do many of the restaurants here now. Chinese food used to be much cheaper but not anymore. I realise all restaurants have had to put prices up but the final bill was a bit of a shock.

We first visited this restaurant last year and were really impressed with it. What a difference a year makes, this time the food was awful. We had a banquet and the quality of the food was dreadful. The service also left a lot to be desired. We will not be going to this restaurant ever again.

I asked twice to take food since my house is next door, regular food, very cheap prices. typical cheap Chinese restaurant.

We have been lovers of Chinese food and restaurants for 60+ years (now in our seventies) and we can say Fu Xin almost matches it's name... We were warned by people on next table that the cold plates we were given would be around for a long time before any food arrived, so we, like them, asked for them to be heated up. Minor nitpick. Then came the food... the spare ribs were as tough as leather; the rice was a mean portion and tasteless; the beef with ginger and onion was glutinous and boring and the sweet and sour pork very disappointing, so we didn't order anything else. We have been to more Chinese restaurants than I care to remember and Fu Xin goes straight to the top of the worst 3 ever.
