Avaliação da contribuiçãoInteresting combination of French and Indian cuisine, however mostly kept separated. They do have two sets of menus one for each. Although you will get some fusion. For instance they escargot is served in some sort of curry. The food in general pretty good, although I think a bit overpriced for such place.
I really enjoyed the Salmon Makhani. The salmon was better than I've had at other locations. The sauce was delicious and plentiful. The lamb curry was really good. The lamb was not tough or chewy and the spice was on point. The onion bhaji and the veggie samosas were excellent! On to the reason of a 4 star review. 1, The interior does not feel warm and comfortable. (Totally my opinion as others may see it different) 2, The Naan bread was super dry and thin. Almost as if missing an ingredient. 3, The chai, non dairy style! Was told could be made and was a homemade was a glass of hot water with a tea bag in it! Now that could be a langue barrier, but was not as expected. Had the Naan been just a bit better. I would have looked past the other issues and given a 5 star review.
Other then being a bit on the expensive side, the place aint bad. Really really tasty food, and its enough to fill up a big man like me. Now i was going to list what we ate but i cant remember how to spell it or pronounce it LOL. the service wes excellent and the place was all but empty but had Lots of take out orders.
Everything was tasty and the service was good. Nice place and prices were very reasonable (50 bucks set menu for 2 that could feed 3 or 4). Quality was very good overall. Why only 4 stars? Bill was not split correctly (I just paid for it all as it was just easier to deal after) and table was dirty (they looked busy with take out deliveries and many tables needed a clear and clean). Honestly those 2 things were likely just them being busy back of the house. Our food came quickly though so really I hate taking a star but there is not 4.5 star option. Will have to go back again so I can find a reason to give more stars!
I was here a week ago and meant to leave a review. A lot of places sacrifice flavor to spice. This is not the case with Namaste; as your (already delicious) dish becomes hotter, it actually becomes more flavorful here, which is everything anybody could want in Indian and Nepalese food. The tikka masala is fantastic. This time I ordered momo with the chili sauce; apologies for the picture my bandmate had already taken a couple dumplings before I snapped the photo. Additionally, I hear they are hiring. If you're looking to work at a great Indian restaurant, now is as good of a time as any.
