Frank's Deli - Asbury Park

Can't believe I didn't come here sooner. Got a traditional Italian sub, large portions made fast and taste perfect. The waiters were super friendly and had a fun conversation. Oh and don't get me started on the lemonade, fresh squeezed and just tasted amazing.

Such a classic NJ spot. A total experience. Delicious food and amazing service. The whole time I was there I was just hoping that I would be able to come here forever! And the smells in that place... out of this world! Can't wait to come back.

Started my 2024 diner travels with a visit to Frank’s. So glad I did. 100% legit Jersey diner. Breakfast was in front of me within minutes, great portions, good value. Everything cooked properly, especially the bacon. Home fries done extra crispy at my request, perfectly toasted English muffin. Coffee was great, though I'm not a coffee guy. Amazing friendly service, awesome vibe, just … everything you need in a Jersey diner … and nothing you don’t. Recommended. Parking: Plenty of spots and street parking too.

This place looks like you time traveled to the 70s. I mean that in a good way. It seems like its a hang out for locals that come there often. They know most peoples names that eat there and ask your name if they don't. The food looked delicious and when I was there waiting for my hoagie three different people asked if I was being helped. I got an Italian hoagie that ranks high on my list. Fresh, high quality meats and it is done north jersey style with the roll cut in half with the top of the roll placed on top of everything. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area of Asbury Park.
