Pomodoros Greek Italian Café

Good gyros. We went through Asheville on our way to South Carolina. So we only ate here once, but can recommend the Gyros and Pommes, We were starved when we arrived at our hotel and were not familiar with one of the restaurants near our hotel. Decided to visit a Greek restaurant and chose Pomodoros as it was nearby. YUM. Good choice. My husband went to Pomodoros, ordered the food and it was still very good. So if it was good to take when eating, it's good!

I have always enjoyed Pomodoros and I have dined there several times in the last two years. attentive service, high-quality ingredients, beautiful selection of wines, traditional and creative Italian and Greek cuisine.

Mediocre but fine for dinner. We came here because it was too cold to wander the streets of downtown waiting for a restaurant and this place took reservations. Food was fine but nothing special. It probably would have been much better if our server josh did not clearly want to be at work. He was not unkind but definitely gave the impression that he wanted to be anywhere but here. That put a little damper on the meal.

We went there for dinner and had 1 of their greek pizzas. it was tasty and delicious. the service was speedy and pleasant. The crust was thin and tasty. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. Prices were just above average. About right for the quality you get

Go Po. Not spectacular and not a place to go all the time but a nice change of pace and good looking place. Don't like the way the bar is propped up in the middle of the room and service is hit and miss, with food a little overpriced. But it is tasty.
