Grindhouse Killer Burgers - Athens

Fast forward to our trip back home, and we made sure to stop in Athens again for another lunch at Grinderhouse. This time, we struck up a conversation with a local who recommended the grilled brussels sprouts. They were the best I've ever had! My wife is now trying to replicate the recipe so she can make them at home. In short, I see many future visits to this place whenever we find ourselves near Athens, Georgia.

The last time we visited Grindhouse, there was a wider variety to choose from, including options like wheat buns. While the taste is still as great as ever, as a type 2 diabetic, I really miss having the wheat bun because it doesn't spike my blood sugar levels as much. On a positive note, my daughter really enjoyed the meal, which is significant since she is autistic.

A must-visit in Athens! However, it's certainly not inexpensive.

Gluten free options. Staff was knowledgeable about food allergies.

Great Yam Dankee burger. Have not had one in a while.
